Blow Out Highlights For A Clean Background

Step 1: Open an image in photoshop with a white or near white background.

Step 2: Go to the image menu and select the levels option.

Step 3: Drag the white triangle under the histogram graph to the left until the background is pure white. Or just click on the right most eyedropper (the white one) in the levels dialog and then click on the background that you want to be white.

Step 4: Click "OK" and save a copy of your image to enjoy.
