So a few people have asked me about getting a real Holga camera. You can purchase a regular Holga here
or a Holga with a built in flash here
. Also available is the Holga Starter Kit
that includes some instructions and a roll of film to get you started. Best of all, if you make these purchase through these links you will be supporting the site and helping to cover some of the server costs.

Well, incase you can’t tell we did a little work on the website. In addition to a total redesign we will be changing how some parts of the website are displayed. For example from now on the step-by-step guides will be part of the show posts instead of a separate pages. Also posts will be categorized so you can browse the site for just info on the podcast or see site news.
Unfortunately, in the transfer most of the comments from the previous site have not been transferred to the new posts. Also, the post dates have changed. We will be continuing to work on the site to reimplement things like the listener polls along with other new features. Thanks for sticking with us as we make this transition, and make sure to let us know what you think of the new site either by adding a comment to this post or by dropping me an email at kent at 2minutetricks dot com.

A look at how to Holgafy your digital images. A holga is a very low-tech $20 plastic medium format camera that was really made as a toy camera, but it has caught on with many photographers due to the unique look of the images a Holga produces. Holgas are plagued with light leaks, poor plastic lenses, and unpredictable controls. So why would one want to make their pristine digital image look like it was shot with a junker of a camera? Well the raw and kind of primal look you get with a Holga can be very appealing for certain images, and sometimes seeing images in a slightly different format can do wonders for the feel of an image.
The film tops and bottoms are available here: Top and bottom

Davin has posted the first ever listener trick on the wiki, and I must say its a great one. Davin’s guide to whitening teeth is really easy to follow and has some great pictures to go along with it. So go check it out here. Also, I want to thank Davin for blazing the way for listener tricks and for starting out with such a good one. I hope to see some more of you all following suit. I know you all have some bottled up photoshop tricks to share, so lets see ‘em!
